Young People design new creative spaces
Teenagers get new spaces for arts
TeenSpace Project, Shrewsbury and Oswestry
Architects have drawn up plans together with young people for this rural ‘hub and spoke’ project led by Shropshire County Council in partnership with the local third and private sectors. £3.9m myplace is funding £3.9m of this £4.8m project to build a new youth hub in Oswestry and refurbish an existing centre in Shrewsbury, and further outreach through mobile provision.
The centres will offer activities including drama, music, dance, multimedia production, arts and crafts, together with a wide range of co-located support advice and support services.
Young people are transforming spaces and their futures all around the country. You can get involved in projects like this in Telford & Wrekin and help to change the way people learn.
