Telford Book Award 2011

Our next Book Award celebration will be in July where schools will come together to celebrate their chosen books for Fiction. Young people work with the Library service to design the criteria for an award and choose a long list, then short list books. They vote via website, and this year it is based on Fiction books. Children in schools from Key-stage 1, 2 and 3 will work with the libraries to decide ‘what is a good book?’. Schools also have visiting authors working with the children to develop their reading and analytical skills.
