Telford Dance Festival 2010 - 9-13 February
Telford Dance Festival 2010 presented a diverse programme of high quality dance to delighted audiences at Oakengates Theatre. Four evenings of fantastic dance talent showcased local young people, groups from Shropshire, emerging professionals and international dance companies. Over 600 performers took to the stage presenting original dynamic dance in a diverse range of styles to an audience of over 1200.
On Saturday 13th we welcomed DanceXchange with two performances of Dansense, a magical show which captivated family audiences of over 200 people. The festival provides an inclusive platform to celebrate dance and reflects our commitment to dance as a cornerstone of our cultural offer that offers a rich range of opportunities to people of all ages throughout the borough.
Applause - New College is an inspirational modern dance piece inspired by classic broadway shows.
Blue Eyed Soul Dance Company is an innovator of inclusive dance with disabled and non-disabled artists.
Young People are helped to event manage Telford Dance Festival 2010 contributing ideas and learning new skills through this exciting opportunity.
