Telford Film Festival 2011
This world premiere event showcased the diverse range of very entertaining short films produced by the young people from Telford & Wrekin.
They have been getting creative and working with professional film-makers to produce original short films during unique 'Film in a Day' workshops. These workshops give participants the opportunity to experience all aspects of the film making process such as writing, directing, acting, camera operating and editing - all within one day! Not only did the participants experience new mulit-media skills and technology, it was the perfect opportunity to be imaginative and have fun!
Phoenix School in Dawley played host to the Telford Film Festival 2011 and all films were screened in front of a packed audience made up of all the young film-makers and their families. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all and proved to be a great foundation for next year's event.
The short show reel above gives a flavour of what the Film in a Day workshops entail and all of the films showcased at the film festival can be viewed below.
