Telford & Wrekin Music run a range of after school and lunchtime music clubs for children and young people in schools across Telford and Wrekin.

Our range of after school music clubs provides young people with a platform to develop and improve their skills, boost confidence in performance and gain experience playing with other musicans.

The range of after school music clubs caters for young musicans of all levels in a wide range of instruments.

Monday

• Orchestra 4-30pm to 5-30pm, Charlton School, Wellington (up to Grade 3 in standard)
• Secondary Rock School, 4pm to 5pm, Burton Borough School, Newport
• Guitar Together Course, 4-30pm to 5-30pm, The Place, Oakengates
• Music Theory Club, 6pm to 7-30pm, Charlton School, Wellington
• Symphony Orchestra, 7pm to 8-45pm, Charlton School, Wellington (every fortnight, Grade 3 and above)

Kreative Kidz is an arts project for children aged 8-18 years with a learning disability. Working with professional artists and support staff the children produce exciting and imaginative work whilst having fun. Kreative Kidz meets the second Saturday of every month and at school holidays. Please contact the Creative and Cultural development team for further details.

CBSO Instrumental Workshops There are currently day long free instrumental workshops with the CBSO every half term for pupils of grade 6 and above standard. Please contact Telford & Wrekin Music on 01952 380981 for further details.

There is a Remissions Policy in place for our After School Music Clubs, Children in Care and pupils on Free School Meals (FSM) can claim free access to our range of Music Clubs and Music lessons through Telford & Wrekin Music.

Some of our After School Music Clubs require members to be of a certain musical standard before joining the group
