Telford & Wrekin Music Under 18's Band Night 2011/12
Under 18s Band Night 2011 give local bands from schools and colleges across Telford & Wrekin the opportunity to take to the stage and show off their talent and skills.
At the March 2011 Band Night, participants from the 'Young Promoters' project produced this short film to document the evening and find out what the young people of Telford gained from taking part in such events.
Band Nights are unique celebration of young people lead live performances and access to making music. It is held in a supportive, non-competitive environment with students encouraging each other and sharing their musical experiences.
Band Nights are fantastic evenings of live music and both performers and audience alike get a real 'buzz' from being part of it! Band nights take place three times a year at The Place in Oakenagtes and have a growing regular audience base.
