Our Music Education Development Plan (LAMP) will help develop, enhance and expand the music education on offer within Telford & Wrekin.

We are dedicated to using music to increase the aspirations, confidence and achievement of children.
For many children, experiencing music, learning a musical instrument, performing live, witnessing an orchestra coming to life is an exhilarating experience that leaves a lasting impression while positively enhancing their insight and perceptions.
Whether you are an individual or represent an organisation or company, there are a variety of ways in which you can help us expand our range of services and add value to existing opportunities.
Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available and can be tailored to the specific needs of individuals or organisations. If you would like to discuss any of the ideas below, or would like to explore more radical initiatives, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
Possible Sponsorship Packages
- £2,500 would fund 10 Music Scholarships for disadvantage pupils to have music lessons and an instrument for a year with Telford & Wrekin Music.
- £3,500 would fund the Telford Big Sing giving over 1,500 pupils aged 7 to 11 the opportunity to take part in a large scale community singing event.
- £1,500 would fund three under 18’s Band Nights in Oakengates giving young people the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and recording opportunity for the young people / bands.
- £50 would pay for one Special Needs Music Workshop for up to 20 young people.
- £125 would pay for 6 music sessions in an early years setting for up to 30 0 to 5 year olds and their parents / carers.
- Sponsorship of pupil music awards and prizes.
- Sponsorship of a particular choir, orchestra and ensemble.
- We can help companies deliver elements of their Corporate Social Responsibility agenda
- In-kind Sponsorship such as instruments and venue hire.
